Jacob Treebeard is growing something special in our Cincinnati apartment and he wants your help!
He and Aunt Rebecca are creating a “Tree of Friends” so that he (and mommy and daddy) can be surrounded by the wonderful folks who are thinking about, praying for, and helping him get his “BIG immune system.” His world thus far has included only relatives and his medical team. We want him to meet all of his other friends out there who are supporting him and his family during this time.
We would love a photo of you and your family to add to the trunk and branches of this special tree. Jacob is looking forward to it growing many branches over the next few weeks, months, and years. He wants it to be a BIG one so keep them coming!
Please send photos to: Jacob Treebeard Brown, 3429 Cornell Place, Cincinnati, OH 45220.
Also, if you would like to grow a tree for Jacob in your workplace, school, or church we have a suggestion for you: Start with a huge sheet of butcher paper. Draw the trunk and branches of a tree. Print up several colorful hearts to sell for $2-$10 a piece. Have folks write their name on the heart and post them as leaves on each of the branches. This colorful tree will remind your co-workers and friends to keep little Jacob in their thoughts and will also raise money for the transplant. Please contact cure4treebeard@gmail.com to let us know that you are growing a tree and raising funds. And don’t forget to send on a photo of any tree you grow for Jacob so we can show him the forest of love that is growing.
Jacob's Tree is under construction! Please check back regularly to see the progress of the tree which Aunt Rebecca and Jacob have been making!
