Jacob and I had fun taking Aunt B to our favorite park, Mt. Airy.  We got shut out on seeing deer, but did get to throw crackers to our geese friends out the window of the van.  The highlight was our walk to the treehouse.  Or I could more accurately call it our skate to the treehouse.  The wood deck walkway was like a sheet of ice.  Bethany and I each took one of Jacob’s hands and he had a blast skating along.  We also took a little hike down the road and of course, found some fun sticks to play with.

After our visit to the park we headed to the Day Hospital for an infusion of IVIG and Pentamidine.  Jacob did great with the long infusions, but mommy messed up by letting him drink a bit too much milk while we were there.  He vomited all over the floor and his bed.  I would definitely say we didn’t get in all our calories today, but on a brighter note, he did weigh in at 16.2 kilograms – up from the 15’s last week. Yeah!!  His labs were good and Dr. Filipovich said he’s doing really well.

Before she left the room I asked Jacob if he had a question for Dr. Filipovich and he said, “Where’s April?  I want to go to April.”  Translation…there is a hot air balloon festival in Kentucky the last weekend in April that Jacob and I have been talking about.  Ever since I mentioned it he can’t stop asking me to go to April.  I tried to show him on a calendar when April is, but he just keeps saying, “I want to go to April right now.”   It’s too cute.  By the way, Dr. Filipovich told Jacob to keep reminding her about it…sounded hopeful to me.

Thanks for your prayers, love and support.
