Update by Aunt B.....Another fun day here in Cincinnati. After getting off to a rough start, the day was filled with laughter and some fun time at the park. But first…the rough start. Mommy and Aunt B weren’t operating at full steam this morning when Jacob got off to a running start. After a minor medicine hiccup (Mommy) and some burned pancakes (Aunt B) the household was almost up and running. Then, Jacob threw up his morning Carnation drink. Thankfully, this was before the oral meds but still a rough start to the morning all the way around.

Jacob rebounded right away and declared that it was time to go to Mt. Airy Park to fly his new kite and introduce Aunt B to his animal friends. We got the car all packed up and exploring we went.

The first stop was the duck pond. Jacob’s duck friends came right up and happily ate all of the bread we threw their way. We slipped and slid in the snow while trying to avoid the duck poop on our way back to the car and by the end it was Jacob, in his boots, holding up Mommy and Aunt B instead of the other way around.

We then went off to find the deer friends. Talk about seasoned deer spotter! Jacob was pointing his deer friends out all over the park. After circling around a bit, we pulled over near a meadow where six deer friends were just hanging out. On went the mask, down came the windows and we all starting throwing bread at the deer friends. They came right up to the car to enjoy the feast. It was great fun as we ran out of bread and starting winging fish crackers at them instead.

Our night settled in to good routine as Jacob took his oral meds like a champ and watched some movies until bedtime. Right now, he’s upstairs drifting to sleep with his new glow in the dark friends. Thank you again for all of your prayers and support. We posted some new pictures today if you want to check them out.  Good night.
