“He is like a tree, planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season, and whose leaf does not wither.” --Psalms 1:3

JT was a little slower getting around today. I think the pace we’ve been keeping this past week or so is finally catching up to him.  I will have to admit, I’m not totally disappointed by it.  We still went exploring, but our walks were shorter and our nap when we returned was a little longer.  He did great with his meds and calorie intake today – no throwing up.  Last night around 3:00am he did have the dry heaves, but nothing in his stomach to come up.  I remember the docs and nurses telling us when JT was inpatient that vomiting once a day or more was pretty much the norm and they didn’t worry about it.  As I check in on the blogs of other transplant children further out than Jacob, I get the idea that it’s still the norm for quite a long time.  Dr. Filipovich is not concerned about it, so I’m not going to be either.  Still, I wish it didn’t happen every day for Jacob’s sake.

Brian is still feeling under the weather with a sore throat.  Justice seems to be on the mend.  I’m not sure when Brian and I are going to be able to switch out.  It all depends on how Brian is feeling and when his symptoms subside.  Please pray for him to feel better and protection for Jacob, Justice and me not to get it.  It’s crazy in our family, but you’re pretty much treated like a leper when you get sick.

Thank you all so much for your continued support.  We are so grateful for all of you for helping us carry the load on this journey.
