“He is like a tree, planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season, and whose leaf does not wither.” --Psalms 1:3

Brian and Jodi have bowed out of the blog again for this evening.  Brian is off for some much-needed rest and Jodi’s in the kitchen busy on the other computer.

Overall it was a good day today although the D continues and there was a pretty full episode of V as well.  The latest stool sample is showing some sort of bacteria in his stool and the docs are trying to figure out additional meds to put him on.

Jacob was pretty energetic this morning running around and playing and making crafts.  He didn’t nap for very long though and last night wasn’t the most restful of nights so this afternoon and into the evening his energy waned.

Not before heading out to the Sculpture Park to visit his sculpture friends and doing some serious off-roading in the golf cart though.  (Daddy even had to move some trees out of the way for us to pass thru!)  On the ride home Jacob was so excited and grinning from ear to ear in anticipation for the reunion with mommy and Justy.  When we pulled in the driveway, Jodi and Justy came out on the front porch grinning and yelling and Jacob and Brian were yelling from in the van.  It was sweet.

Jacob perked right up and his eyes were twinkling as he and Justice ran around crashing into each other, hugging each other and toppling all over the place.  It’s fun to be here to see the four of them back together and the energy and spirit this togetherness gives to each of them.  Their evening “family snuggle” was a moment they had all been looking forward to.

Jacob was tired though.  Brian said to me this evening that he himself doesn’t really realize how exhausted he is until he sees Jodi.  So sleep is in order for the entire crew here.  Thanks for checking in and have a blessed night.

As Jacob said earlier today:  “It’s a party here!”  And we’re all looking forward to a festive day tomorrow.
