There has been a slight change in plans…Brian and JT left for Cincinnati tonight and are staying at a hotel near the hospital. Brian is pretty exhausted. After a few minutes of discussion we both concluded that driving to Cincy, staying for JT’s appointment and then driving back home to Pennsylvania all in the same day was completely nuts.

JT really didn’t want to go this time and I don’t blame him. He’s been having so much fun at home.  But as usual, just a little talking it through and he was really very pleasant about it. Brian called from the road and said that JT was in rare form, pointing out every little thing they’d pass. We play this game called “I spy with my little eye” and Jacob loves it. He is a terrific car rider and for that we are blessed.

The D continues and shows no signs of improving. I’m real curious as to what they’ll make of it. I’m really hoping that JT’s hemoglobin continues to increase and his weight too. I don’t know about the second one, he’s been burning up so many calories running around outside and inside. We’ll see….

It’s been a delightful night at home with Justy. He’s such an incredible child – so happy and cheerful and pleasant. I’m so grateful for him. I’m so grateful for all three of my guys. I am blessed beyond measure.

Thanks for checking in.
