It’s ten minutes to midnight and I just walked in the door - I was logging some hours up in room 202 at the High School. Needless to say, I had the place to myself. I feel boring: Jodi and the boys are gone and the best I can come up for a night to myself is work!
Dr. Marsh called about the biopsy. Nothing infectious has grown from the cultures and there was no glaring evidence of anything fungal in nature, so that is great news. The report noted necrotic (dead) tissue and the pathologists at the hospital didn’t know what exactly was going on. So they sent it to the dermatopathologists at the University of Cincinnati to get their impressions. They won’t get the slides until Monday so we won’t hear anything over the weekend. Please pray for good news, that this is absolutely nothing serious at all.
Jodi said the boys had a great time over at camp, throwing sticks in the river and taking long naps. The work at the house continues…I’ll head over to join them tomorrow evening.
Thanks for hanging with us – the big prayer concern is the foot. Also, we need to start turning up his feeds, so please pray that he can tolerate the increased ml/hr well. Thanks.

Raise money for the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasias simply by clicking your mouse! GoodSearch.com (powered by yahoo.com) is donating money to charities for use of their search engine. To use it, install the GoodSearch toolbar to the top of your browser screen and then type in the charity (National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasias) and then search as you would on Google.com or Yahoo.com. The NFED gets a monetary donation for every search! The more folks that know about this, the greater the donation to NFED, and hence the more money there is to fund research on Jacob's condition and others like his. Thank you!
